It is important to mention that there are many NordicTrack treadmill models. The folding process for almost all moving NordicTrack treadmill works the same. There are many ways to disassemble a NordicTrack treadmill. Here is the easiest method, which will take only a few minutes.
Step 1: Disconnect the power source
First, unplug your machine from the power source. This is necessary to prevent electrocution. You can also remove the machine plug to safely remove all important parts and fold them without causing damage.
Step 2: Disassemble the console
After you have removed the power supply from the machine, it is time to remove the console wire. This wire is located near the handrail on the back. To disconnect this wire, gently locate it and pull it apart.
Step 3: Locate the grounding wire and disconnect it
The grounding wire is a thin wire that runs from the backside of the console through a hole. Locate this wire and remove it from the treadmill.
Step 4: Remove the console clamps
After you have unplugged all treadmill wires, you can fold it. First, remove the console clamps from the top of your unit. A 9-inch rod is the only way to safely remove the clamps. Make sure you get rid of all four screws holding the clamp in place.
Step 5: Disconnect the console from your treadmill
This is an easy step. You only need to remove the six screws that hold the console together. There are two screws at the top and two at the bottom of the machine. Make sure you use a Philips head screwdriver to remove all six screws. After you’re done, lift the console from the frame and place it in a safe location.
Step 6: Fold your treadmill
You are now almost 70% done once you have removed the console from your treadmill and put it in a safe location. Next, disassemble the machine to make it easy to move or transport. First, disconnect the wires from the console. After you’re done, take out the bolts holding the machine upright. There are eight bolts on this machine. To remove all eight bolts, use your Philips head screwdriver. Once you are done, the base will remain intact. It cannot be disassembled. To protect the treadmill’s integrity, fold all loose parts gently.

Slowly pull the treadmill by holding the handrail in your hands. NordicTrack treadmills are all equipped with wheels, so it should not be difficult to move them.
